Qazaq Air to launch direct flights from Astana to Samarkand
The low-cost airline will operate flights twice a week – on Fridays and Sundays.
The Kazakh airline Vietjet Qazaqstan, operating under the Qazaq Air brand, will begin flights to Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan announced.
Starting 7 November, the carrier will launch regular flights on the Astana – Samarkand – Astana route. Flights will be operated twice weekly – on Fridays and Sundays – according to the following schedule:
- Departure from Astana – 10:30, arrival in Samarkand – 13:30;
- Departure from Samarkand – 14:20, arrival in Astana – 17:25.
In addition, from 10 November, Qazaq Air will begin operating flights between Astana and Bishkek. These flights between the capitals of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will also be available twice a week – on Mondays and Thursdays.
“Direct air connections between Astana, Samarkand and Bishkek will offer greater convenience for passengers and contribute to the development of business, tourism, and cultural ties across our region,” said Adilbek Umraliev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qazaq Air.
