Shavkat Mirziyoyev holds talks with Donald Trump at the White House
On November 6, during his working visit to Washington, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen the strategic partnership, deepen political dialogue, and expand cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Mirziyoyev signed the guest book at the White House. Later, during talks in the Oval Office, the sides exchanged views on priority areas of bilateral relations, including trade and economic ties, investment, and cultural and humanitarian collaboration. Particular attention was given to implementing the high-level agreements reached in New York this past September.

While exchanging views on pressing global and regional issues, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation between Central Asia and the United States within the “C5+1” framework.

President Mirziyoyev congratulated Donald Trump on his achievements in domestic and foreign policy and commended his personal efforts toward resolving international and regional conflicts through peaceful means. President Trump, in turn, welcomed Mirziyoyev’s productive meetings in Washington with U.S. government officials, major corporations, and financial institutions.
The two leaders emphasized the importance of establishing and improving institutional mechanisms to advance joint projects. At the end of the meeting, President Mirziyoyev invited Donald Trump to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at a convenient time.
