Asyad Group, Orient Group and UzOman Form Strategic Logistics Partnership in Uzbekistan

Asyad Group acquires a strategic stake in logistics platforms owned by Orient Group and Uzbek-Oman Investment Company, marking its entry into Central Asia.

Tashkent, May 22, 2026: Asyad Group, Orient Group and Uzbek-Oman Investment Company announce the closing of a deal to develop Uzbekistan's logistics infrastructure, reinforcing the country's role as one of Central Asia's key transport and logistics hubs.

Under the partnership, Asyad Group acquires a strategic stake in logistics assets associated with Universal Logistics Services and Highway Logistics Center. The parties intend to jointly develop terminal, warehousing and multimodal infrastructure, introduce international operating standards and strengthen Uzbekistan's position in international transport corridors. Of particular significance is the development of infrastructure at Chukursay Station — one of Tashkent's key freight hubs.

The deal reflects growing international investor interest in Uzbekistan's transport and logistics sector, driven by rising regional trade and the integration of the region into global supply chains.

Asyad Group is a global integrated logistics group from the Sultanate of Oman with consolidated assets of approximately USD 5 billion and annual revenue exceeding USD 1 billion. In 2026, the Group acquired the UK-based Ligentia Group, expanding its international network to 24 countries and 76 cities.
