Saida Mirziyoyeva meets Emmanuel Macron to discuss expanding Uzbekistan–France partnership
The Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, met with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss the ongoing expansion of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, Mirziyoyeva expressed her appreciation to the French leader for the warm reception and delivered sincere greetings on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Writing on her official Telegram channel, Mirziyoyeva noted that the two countries are bound by a long–term partnership across critical strategic sectors. She expressed strong confidence that Tashkent and Paris will successfully implement numerous mutually beneficial initiatives and joint projects in the future.

The high-level meeting follows a substantive discussion held just a day prior between Saida Mirziyoyeva and the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean–Noël Barrot. During those talks, the administration head emphasized that France remains a pivotal strategic partner for Uzbekistan within Europe.

The multi-faceted cooperation between the two nations encompasses several key areas, including energy, transport, infrastructure development, education, and healthcare. Mirziyoyeva reiterated that Uzbekistan remains committed to steadily strengthening its partnership with France and the wider European community while maintaining its position as a reliable, predictable, and stable partner in Central Asia.
