Sardinia seeks Uzbek doctors and nurses through new employment program; salaries up to €5,000
Uzbek medical professionals will have the opportunity to work in Italy's autonomous region of Sardinia under a new recruitment program launched by the Migration Agency.
According to the agency, the initiative aims to recruit up to 100 healthcare professionals annually. Vacancies are open to emergency medicine physicians and nurses with relevant medical degrees.
Previous work experience is not required, though candidates with professional experience will be prioritized during the selection process.
Before departing for Italy, successful applicants will complete a seven-month online Italian language course organized in cooperation with the University of Perugia. The cost of the training will be fully covered by the Migration Agency.
After successfully completing the course, participants will begin official employment in Sardinia. The base monthly salary can reach up to €3,500, while additional payments for overtime and night shifts could increase monthly earnings to €4,000–5,000.
The standard work week is 38 hours. Employers will provide accommodation, cover lunch expenses, and arrange medical insurance for employees.
The program is open to candidates up to 50 years old, though preference will be given to specialists under the age of 40.
Applicants must hold a university degree in medicine or nursing. For additional information and registration, candidates can contact the Migration Agency at +998 71 202 33 55 (ext. 221).
