Russia and Turkey ranked second and third, accounting for 7.4% and 6.6%, respectively.

According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan utilized UZS 338.9 trillion in fixed capital investments from all sources of financing in January–June 2026 to support economic and social development. Foreign investments and loans made up 69.5% of the total.

China had by far the largest share of the foreign investments and loans utilized during the period, at 47%.

Russia accounted for 7.4%, followed by Turkey with 6.6%. Saudi Arabia represented 4.1% of the total, while the United Arab Emirates accounted for 3.2% and Kazakhstan for 2.5%.

The figures underline China’s dominant position among foreign sources of investment and lending in Uzbekistan. China also had the largest number of enterprises with foreign capital operating in the country as of June 1, with 5,821 companies, ahead of Russia with 3,349 and Turkey with 2,237.
