The agreement was signed during the fourth Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Interregional Forum. It sets out the main principles for cooperation on the project.

Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly study and assess opportunities to develop a modern network of filling stations across Uzbekistan. They will also identify potential locations for new facilities and develop suitable business models and practical mechanisms for implementing the project.

Uzbekneftegaz said the partnership would help expand cooperation between the two companies and explore new opportunities for developing Uzbekistan’s fuel infrastructure.
