The largest group of new citizens, 90 people, are from Surkhandarya region, while another 47 live in Tashkent region.
Since 2016, nearly 26,000 people have been granted Uzbek citizenship, according to the decree.
In addition, more than 60,000 people have been officially recognized as Uzbek citizens since a procedure for confirming citizenship was introduced.
