Mirziyoyev sent a message of condolence to Chinese President Xi Jinping after a major landslide and flooding in Shigatse, in the Tibet Autonomous Region, left many people dead and injured and caused significant economic damage.
The Uzbek president expressed his deepest sympathy to the families and loved ones of those killed and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Mirziyoyev also conveyed his condolences to Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel following devastating flooding near Nepal’s border with Tibet, which resulted in numerous deaths and injuries and caused extensive damage.
He expressed sympathy to the families and loved ones of the victims and wished those injured a swift recovery.
In a separate message, Mirziyoyev offered condolences to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif after a devastating fire at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad killed and injured children.
The president conveyed his deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of the children who died and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
