The men, aged 26 and 28, were detained during an operation conducted by the State Security Service (SSS) and the anti-smuggling unit of the Tashkent-Aero specialized customs complex.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 246, Part 1, of Uzbekistan’s Criminal Code, which covers smuggling. The two suspects have been remanded in custody, and an investigation is underway.
