She said Tashkent's rapid growth is creating new challenges for the city.

“Tashkent is growing fast, and we increasingly find ourselves asking what its future will look like, given the urban planning and environmental pressures it faces,” Mirziyoyeva said.

“We have a lot to work through together — from the strain on utilities and public services to energy and water supply. New construction should help the city grow, not put further strain on its systems,” she added.

Saida Mirziyoyeva said the aim is to continue supporting businesses that are working to make Tashkent a better, more beautiful, cleaner, and safer city for residents and visitors alike.
