The inspections were conducted by special commission working groups, which reported extensive violations across greenhouses, construction sites, and road transport.

Greenhouses

Authorities inspected 1,449 greenhouses across the city. As a result:

  • 67 greenhouses were shut down for polluting the air or violating regulations;
  • 403 individuals received administrative citations;
  • 19 farms were issued technical permits to connect to the gas network so they can operate legally.

Construction sites

The working groups identified 53 illegal construction sites. They also:

  • temporarily halted operations at 34 non-compliant sites;
  • initiated administrative action against 188 individuals;
  • installed water-spraying equipment at 51 sites to reduce dust levels.

Vehicle emissions

Inspections also targeted vehicle-related pollution. According to officials:

  • 206 drivers were penalized for exceeding allowable emission limits;
  • fines were issued to 837 trucks operating without covered cargo, a major contributor to dust pollution.

To improve the city’s microclimate and reduce airborne dust, additional environmental measures were carried out, including:

  • watering 77 streets and 165 public areas;
  • cleaning 121 kilometres of irrigation canals;
  • activating 126 fountains.
  • Officials stated that such inspections and preventive measures will continue regularly to improve air quality and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
