Uzbekistan receives another batch of Sputnik V vaccine

Uzbekistan has received another batch of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine - 70 thousand doses of the first component and 20 thousand doses of the second component.
At present, the total stock of the Sputnik V vaccine in the republic is 370 thousand doses.
On July 5, 40 thousand doses of the first component were received, in April - 100 thousand doses and in June - 140 thousand.
Earlier it was reported that another 4.8 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine would be delivered to Uzbekistan in the coming months.
As it became known, from 20 to 25 July, delivery of another four million doses of the Uzbek-Chinese vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC 2001 is expected.
In addition, it is planned to purchase another 160 thousand doses of the Sputnik V vaccine, and in August-September - 660 thousand doses (AstraZeneca or Moderna) under the COVAX program.
