Kogon district prosecutor caught red-handed while receiving $90 thousand in bribe
The prosecutor of the Kogon district in the Bukhara region, Bahodir Gulomov, was detained by SSS (State Security Service) officers while receiving $90 thousand in bribe.

According to a Kun.uz source, Gulomov was detained around 23:00 on February 13, 2024.
He was caught red-handed near the Bukhara city emergency medical center while receiving $90 thousand through an intermediary in exchange for canceling the detention motion against M.I., the founder of a society that was wanted in a criminal case involving officials from the “Kogon yog-ektraksiya zavodi” JSC being processed by the prosecutor's office of the Bukhara region, and for offering leniency in the criminal case.
Preliminary investigation actions are currently being conducted by the prosecutor's office of the Bukhara region regarding the case.
Bahodir Gulomov was appointed as the prosecutor of Kogon district in April 2022. He previously served as the head of a department in the prosecutor's office of the Bukhara region.
