Uzbekistan to observe Eid al-Adha on July 31
The press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan announced that the coming Wednesday is the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah.
The Dar al-Ifta al Misriyyah (Egypt) has declared that the first day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1441 AH, falls on July 22, 2020, according to the Gregorian calendar.
According to the press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, in this regard, a limited number of local pilgrims performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia will gather on Mount Arafat on the eve of July 30, 2020.
“Friday, July 31, 2020, will be the 10th day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. The blessed holiday in the Islamic world Eid Al-Adha will be celebrated on that same day, InshAllah,” the report said.
