Cobalt and Nexia become best-selling cars in Kazakhstan

The Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB) summed up the results for January-September 2021. During this period, 79,444 vehicles were sold, UzAuto Motors reports.

The sales leaders were Chevrolet Cobalt and Chevrolet Nexia. A total of 22,383 units of these vehicles were sold, which is approximately 28.17% of the market share. Compared to 2020, the sales growth of UzAuto Motors products increased 5 times.

At the same time, it is noted that the prices for these models in Kazakhstan are more expensive than in Uzbekistan by about $1,000.

In general, AKAB noted the optimistic growth of the passenger car market over this period. The increase in comparison with 2020 remained at the level of 36.3%.
