Abdulaziz Kamilov meets with President of Afghanistan

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, participating in the International Conference on Afghanistan, met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on November 28, 2018 in Geneva.
During the conversation, the current state and prospects of expanding relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan were discussed.
The sides noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of the Uzbek-Afghan dialogue, which today, under the leadership and with the personal participation of the two heads of state, has become comprehensive.
Mohammad Ashraf Ghani highly appreciated the efforts of Uzbekistan to promote peace and harmony in Afghanistan and thanked for the support and participation in the implementation of major infrastructure and socio-economic projects in the country.
The meeting also considered other issues of mutual interest.
