Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov

During the meeting, Belousov conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The discussions focused on further developing and strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Russia. This included the practical implementation of agreements reached during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s state visit to Uzbekistan in May last year.

The sides emphasized the importance of enhancing collaboration between their defense ministries, in line with agreed-upon programmatic and strategic planning documents.
