Ambassador Nabijon Kasimov presents credentials to the Czech President
On February 21, 2019 in Prague, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Czech Republic with residence in Berlin Nabijon Kasimov presented his credentials to the President of the country Milos Zeman.
According to the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, during the talks, the head of the Czech Republic welcomed the transformations being carried out in Uzbekistan, the policy of openness pursued by the leadership both within the country and internationally.
The role of Uzbekistan in strengthening good-neighborly relations and cooperation in Central Asia, as well as involving neighboring Afghanistan in this process, was especially noted by the Czech President.
Milos Zeman expressed interest of the Czech side in enhancing multi-faceted cooperation with Uzbekistan and his readiness to provide the necessary assistance in the reform processes in our country.
The Czech president supported the desire of the Uzbek side to intensify economic diplomacy in relations between the two countries, which can stimulate the promotion of cooperation in other areas.
