In the Yashnabad district, Tashkent, a driver of Nissan Maxima car hit a pedestrian, the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent reports.
“On June 24, a 31-year-old driver of Nissan Maxima car hit a 27-year-old pedestrian crossing the road in the Yashnabad district,” the press service of the capital’s police department said.
As a result of the traffic accident, the pedestrian was killed on the spot.
Reportedly, the driver, being drunk, was driving the car at a high speed.
