As reported the capital of our country hosts Asian weightlifting Championship. In the weight category up to 85 kg, our athletes Muhammad Begaliyev and Ulugbek Alimov successfully took part at continental competitions, and finished on 5th and 7th positions respectively, which gifted M.Begaliev a ticket to Rio.
Fans of our national weightlifting team encouraged its members. In a stubborn struggle Uzbek athletes have made whole efforts and took a worthy position. Thus, M.Begaliev lifted up a total of 350 kg, and U.Alimov coped with the weight of 336 kg. Lim Yungchul and Yew DongJu (Republic of Korea), Denis Ulanov (Kazakhstan), Elbah Fares Ibrahim (Qatar), Su Ying (China), Musavidzharahi Seyedayub (Iran) also performed in this weight category.
