International Forum “Media, Advertising and Modern Technologies” opens in Tashkent

The International Forum “Media, Advertising, and Modern Technologies” took off in Tashkent today.
The Forum’s participants will discuss a number of crucial issues concerning the current development of media, advertisement and marketing. The topics include: global and domestic media industry development perspectives; international TV content distribution and local adaptation principles; innovations in the creation and processing of video content; measuring television audience and audience’s preferences; main trends and innovative techniques in marketing and advertising, perspectives for media agencies in modern days, and others.
The event’s audience included directors and leading specialists from broadcasting and mass media companies, advertisement and creative agencies, cable, digital and satellite television operators, telecom equipment and software producers; media content producers and distributers; and top managers for marketing, advertisement, and public relations from manufacturers and service providers.
Alongside local media companies directors, the event will be attended by recognised international experts in broadcasting, advertisement, marketing, IT, and telecommunication technologies. Sharing their experiences and expertise will be: Timothy Arlott (Business Manager at Reuters Television London, Thomson Reuters); Anne Kirsipuu (Format Sales Directors at FremantleMedia Group Ltd); Meerim Chotbaeva (Regional Director at SARAN MEDIA); Jarrett Foerster Potts (Sales and Marketing Director at Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd); Dmitiry Bunevich (Head of Comprehensive Solutions Development Deparment at SONY ELECTRONICS JSC); Mikhail Shadrin (Head of Multimedia Department at SoftLab-NSK); Viktor Yelisseyev (CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Kazakhstan); Valeriy Mashtakov (Partner at International Media Service); Alexander Yemelyanov (iTRAM Director at TNS Central Asia); Mikhails Starodubovs (Sales Manager at TEAM Marketing), and others.
The Forum is attended by over 200 delegates from Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, China, Israel, Switzerland, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Turkey.
The Forum offers various forms of interaction, such as breakout sessions, panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and the “Meeting Session” Exhibition, which allows companies to … their products and services to other participants and to find potential partners — agents, consumers, and contractors.
The Forum is organised by SAIPRO Information and Rating Agency, under the aegis of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan, the State Committee on Privatisation, Demonopolisation and Development of Competition, and the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan.
Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent LLC acts as the General Partner of the event, with ‘Uzbekistan Cable Television’, ‘ZO’R TV’ channel and ‘Mail.Ru Group’ sponsoring the Forum.
