Car number plates worth 2 billion UZS sold in 4 days

During the period from September 5 to September 8, 2018, Uzbek Commodity Exchange concluded deals worth 521,9 billion sums, says the press service of the UzEx.

638 car numbers were sold through online auctions over the past week. Total amount of money earned through these auctions exceeded 2 billion sums.

First category registration plates, which are sometimes referred as golden numbers, brought about 21% of the total income, while second (55%) and third (24%) category numbers made up the rest.

Most active buyers were motorists of Tashkent city and Tashkent region. Their share in the transactions amounted to 19%. The second and third places were taken by Fergana (12%) and Namangan (10%) regions respectively. The share of other regions was 59%.
