Man brutally killed his wife in Kokand

On September 8, a couple, Bakhtiyor Rahmonkulov and Umida Rahmonkulova, who lived in 55A “Bakht” Street, Kokand had a heated argument.
As “Davr” news program on “Muloqot TV” reports, Bakhtiyor Rahmonkulov could not control his rage and stabbed his wife viciously.
Umida Rahmonkulova died at the spot as a result of heavy injury. Bakhtiyor Rahmonkulov, who said he regrets for what he had done, was detained.
A criminal case is initiated against the convict. Bakhtiyor Rakhmankulov has been charged under Part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and currently the city prosecutor's office is investigating the case.
Video footage on “Davr” news program tells that the family had regular disputes, but neither neighbors nor relatives paid any attention. Their negligence caused the woman’s death.
