Excavator manufacturing joint venture opened in Tashkent
Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Alexander Lukashenko opened “Amkodor-Agrotechmash”, a joint venture, which is established in the territory of Tashkent Agricultural Machinery Plant.

The total cost of the project is $ 33 million and is planned to be realized in 2018-2021. At the first stage, which is officially set off on September 13, 12 types of excavators for construction and agriculture will be manufactured. The degree of localization will reach 22 percent in 2019 and at least 50 percent in 2021.
“The head of our state stressed the need to expand the product range and increase the level of localization. He also noted that Uzbekistan possesses all the favorable conditions and potential to supply our neighboring countries with agricultural machinery,” the report of the President’s press service reads.

The first excavators, manufactured at the joint venture, were demonstrated during the Presidents’ visit.
