The discussions were held in Minsk during the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM. Belarus, where representatives of Uzbekistan’s Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry met with executives from leading Belarusian pharmaceutical companies.
The sides discussed expanding cooperation in the sector, developing new projects and ensuring their practical implementation.
Particular attention was paid to localizing the production of modern and high-tech medicines in Uzbekistan that are currently imported. The talks also covered joint efforts to enter third-country markets and the transfer of advanced technologies.
The participants explored opportunities to launch joint investment projects in the pharmaceutical sector.
The meetings concluded with an agreement to maintain regular dialogue and continue work on joint initiatives in these areas.
