Bike-Marathon in Tashkent

On Friday, Sept. 21, a bike marathon was held in Tashkent.
The event was held under the motto "We are for road safety", the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent reports.
The organizers of the marathon were the Main Department for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent city administration and the Youth Union of Tashkent.
With a mass start, the marathon was open to everyone. No age or other restrictions were imposed on the participants. The only condition was having of a bicycle.
More than 1,200 people aged 7 to 70, attended the ride.
The event was spectacular with lots of fun. The staff of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent ensured the safety of participants and spectators, and maintained public order.
