Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and Turkey agreed on cooperation for the coming year

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and Turkey, following the first meeting of the coordinating working group, signed a protocol on cooperation for 2018-2019, the department for Public Relations and Media of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.

The Uzbek delegation was headed by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Davron Nazarmukhamedov and the Turkish side was led by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Mukhterem Inju. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the two countries discussed the current state and further prospects of cooperation.

Following the meeting, a protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey for 2018-2019 was signed. The document envisages improving cooperation in counter-terrorism, illegal migration, arms trafficking, drugs, organized crime, economic crimes, and other important issues.

The Uzbek delegation also got acquainted with the activities of the police departments of Ankara and Istanbul.
