Car number plates worth 2.7 billion UZS sold through auctions last week
During the period from Sept. 24 to Sept. 28, 2018, Uzbek Commodity Exchange concluded deals worth 729.6 billion sums, the press service of the UzEx said.
Over the past week, 826 car numbers were sold through online auctions. Total sum of these license plates exceeded 2.7 billion UZS.
First category registration plates, which are sometimes referred as golden numbers, brought about 22% of the total income, while second (52%) and third (26%) category numbers made up the rest.
Most active buyers were motorists of Tashkent city and Tashkent region. Their share in the transactions amounted to 21%. The second place was taken by Kashkadarya region car owners (12%) and the third place was shared by Fergana and Bukhara regions, each with a share of 11%. The share of other regions was 45%.
