Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Paris
On Oct 8, 2018, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of France Emmanuel Macron, arrived in Paris on an official visit.

The Uzbek delegation was met at Orly Airport in Paris by the French officials.

Today, the head of Uzbekistan will meet with Audrey Azoulay, Director-general of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and Gérard Philippe René André Larcher, President of the French Senate. Furthermore, Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to hold talks with heads of leading French companies.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for October 9. The agenda of the talks includes issues of further development of political dialogue, expansion of practical cooperation in trade, economic and financial spheres, joint implementation of investment projects in various sectors, as well as intensification of relations in cultural and humanitarian areas.
Following the meetings, more than 10 intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents will be signed, including agreements on cooperation in the fields of economics and finance, transport, tourism, ecology, culture and the arts.
