Uzbek migrants killed in a car crash in Moscow region
In Moscow region, Uzbek migrants met their death in a traffic accident when they were heading to the “Sakharovo” migration center.
The incident happened in Podolsk district of Moscow region on October 17. A Toyota Land Cruiser hit a Mitsubishi minibus with high-speed on Simferopol highway. As a result, four passengers - three women and a man died on the spot, other three were critically injured and taken to Podolsk city hospital.
The Mitsubishi Grandis driver was taking Uzbek migrants, aged 27 to 48, to the Migration Center in the village of “Sakharovo” for work permit registration.
On the way, the tire of the car blew out and the driver had to stop and check the damage. While he was mending the vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser hit the van at a high speed.
A criminal case is initiated on the incident.
