Uzbekistan, Singapore to establish an integrated education center

Alisher Kurmanov, Chairman of Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Tourism, and the delegation headed by Von Hve Kiat, Chief Executive Officer of SixClouds Pte Ltd (Singapore), held a meeting, the press service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis reports.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of creating convenient investment environment and competitive economic atmosphere, as well as further strengthening of legislative basis for free entrepreneurial activity.

Furthermore, the parties reached an agreement on establishing Uzbek-Singapore regional training center and the integrated research and development center in 2019-2029. These centers will provide new software products and interactive digital teaching platforms for learning English, Chinese, mathematics and other pre-school and school science curricula for kindergarten, secondary school, and higher education institutions in Uzbekistan through animated video classes. 

The representatives of the company presented their project on the International innovation week “InnoWeek-2018” in Tashkent.

At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue the joint work by intensifying bilateral relations, as well as by cooperating within international organizations.
