Tashkent to host the first expert forum between the analytical centers of the Central Asian countries
The first expert forum between the analytical centers of the Central Asian countries will be held in Tashkent today, October 29, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
The main objective of the event is to create a platform for discussing issues of ensuring regional development and security, as well as developing practical proposals and recommendations for the heads of state of the region.
The forum will be attended by experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
During the event, it is planned to consider issues of fighting religious extremism, terrorism, drug trafficking, prospects for cooperation in the areas of politics, trade, investment, transport communications, infrastructure integration, as well as the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the countries of Central Asia.
The event is being organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.
