Uzbekistan has developed its own space program
Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov said that the republic has developed its own space program. According to him, the Uzbek government has studied international experience and “developed a program where everything is planned on a step by step basis,” Interfax reports.
“Uzbekistan is currently enhancing international cooperation in this area, including with Russia and European countries,” the diplomat said.
In the spring of this year, it was reported that “Roscosmos” offered Uzbekistan joint projects on the development of satellites, as well as cooperation in the field of monitoring space debris and remote sensing of the earth.
