IDB to allocate grants for the development of “Vakf” legislation in Uzbekistan
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is providing grants to establish Islamic financing in Uzbekistan and development of “Vakf” legislation.
In accordance with the press service of Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, on November 14, a group of competent IDB members arrived in Tashkent to discuss these issues.
Members of the group are expected to be in Uzbekistan until November 17. They will also hold a conference on Islamic finance with the participation of representatives of various ministries and departments.
It should be noted that within the framework of the visit, the delegation will tour the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, and Samarkand.
