On November 16-17, a series of cultural-educational events were held at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) and one of them was the launch of Uzbek language bachelor’s degree program. This was reported by the press service of the University of Uzbek language and literature.
In the course of this historic event, the Uzbekistan Culture Week also took place. The event was attended by the honorable guest – one of the main organizers, as well as rector of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature Shukhrat Sirojiddinov and the chairman of the SCO Vladimir Norov.
In addition, the SISU was presented a collection of Alisher Navoi’s books translated into Chinese. It should be noted that Shanghai International Studies University is one of the key partners of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature.
