Uzbek-Belarusian joint faculty “Innovative Pedagogy” may be launched at the Pedagogical University of Tashkent
Project of the Presidential Resolution on establishment of the Uzbek-Belarusian joint faculty “Innovative Pedagogy” at Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami has been discussed.
According to the project, students of the joint faculty can study for three years at Tashkent State Pedagogical University and one year at Belarus State Pedagogical University.
Also, it is planned to hold online courses for the faculty students by the Belarusian State Pedagogical University and graduate students will be given a bachelor’s degree by both higher educational institutions.
Specialists in defectology, psychology, preschool education will be trained at the joint faculty.
For the current academic year, the Uzbek-Belarusian joint faculty has planned to accept 150 students on a contract basis in three directions – on defectology (logopedia) – 75 students, psychology – 5 and preschool education - 25.
“The joint faculty will conduct full-time education in Russian,” the portal of draft normative-legal acts stated.
