Uzbek citizen’s two-month-old baby was kidnapped in St. Petersburg
In St. Petersburg, a two-month-old baby was abducted from a children’s hospital. The criminal took advantage of the external similarity with the mother of the newborn. Police is searching the lawbreaker and the child.
According to “Komsomolskaya Pravda-Petersburg”, the mother, 24, who came to St. Petersburg from Uzbekistan, appealed to the police. She said that she was admitted to the hospital on September 20 to give birth. As she did not have valid documents, she had to use her friend’s ID to be accepted to hospital.
The woman delivered a baby girl with heart defect and the baby was transferred to a hospital on Avangard Street. She underwent an operation there. Two months later, the baby was taken from the hospital by the same woman whose documents were used by the mother of the child.
