On November 10, 2018, at midnight, a policeman of Termiz city J. M. caused a fatal traffic accident while driving the service vehicle “Damas”. He hit a traffic safety officer P. Ch. who was performing his duty in “Bogishamol” makhalla on A. Navoiy Street.
According to the press service of the General Prosecutor’s office, P. Ch. died on November 19, 2018, at Surkhandarya branch of the Republican Emergency Medical Aid Scientific Center as a result of severe injuries.
In accordance with the preliminary forensic medical examination, P. Ch.’s death was caused by internal brain injury, multiple bone breakages and acute cardiovascular failure.
On November 19, 2018, Termiz city Prosecutor’s office initiated criminal case against J. M. under Article 266 (Part 2) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
