Ex BCE officer arrested for extortion
In the Tashkent region, a false employee of the prosecutor’s office, extorting money from the inspector of the Road Safety Management Department, was arrested, Kun.uz correspondent reports with reference to the press service of the prosecutor’s office.
“S.I., Road Safety Management Department officer of the Bekabad district, Tashkent region, appealed to the prosecutor of the region. In his address, he indicated that a man, who introduced himself as an investigator of the 18th department of the regional prosecutor’s office named “Abduvohid”, told him about investigative actions to be introduced against him soon and said that he could “help” the inspector for $ 500,” the General Prosecutor’s Office noted.
Within the course of the operative measures taken in this regard, A.S., former officer of the Bureau of Compulsory Execution, was arrested red-handed.
A criminal case has been initiated against him. Investigative actions are being conducted.
