Belarusian Interior Ministry delegation visits Samarkand

Members of the Belarus delegation led by Sergei Khomenko, the head of the Belarus Interior Ministry’s  Defense Department, who arrived in Uzbekistan on December 6, visited Samarkand, the press service of the regional administration reports.

“The purpose of our visit is to strengthen ties between the security services of Uzbekistan and Belarus and to sign cooperation documents,” Sergei Khomenko said.

The delegation members visited the Department of Internal Affairs of the region.

Also, explored the Registan Square, Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum and other sights.
