Moscow hosted MMA championship for migrant workers
Labor migrants from different countries took part at the International Championship on MMA, organized by the All-Russian Public Organization “Federation of Migrants of Russia” in Moscow.
The fighters from Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Russia participated in 13 fights, which were held in eight weight categories.
Uzbekistan was represented at the tournament by two fighters - Bakhodir Kholmurodov (93 kg) and Sunnat Damidov (70 kg). Both were recognized as winners as their opponents refused to fight.
Together with the city authorities, national diasporas and embassies participated in awarding ceremony of the sportsmen.
