Working hours of kindergartens may change

A petition appeared on the Portal for collective appeals of citizens (My Opinion), asking citizens to support the change in the closing hours of kindergartens in Uzbekistan.

The petition speaks about one of the main problems of parents, whose work day ends later than the work hours of kindergartens. They often have to look for someone to leave their kids with, which is a real trouble in most cases. Considering the pros and cons of this issue, it is proposed to change the closing hours of kindergartens from 17:00 to 19:00.

Note that the responsible persons will have to consider the issue if the document collects the necessary amount of positive feedback and support.

Uzbekistan has already launched a pilot project to introduce free compulsory one-year training for children before attending primary schools.

Pilot groups are organized in order to assist children who do not attend pre-school educational institutions in receiving their primary education.
