IOC demands that 11 Russian athletes must return their Olympic medals

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has demanded that Russian athletes and their team members should give back their medals that were won during the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
"The IOC has demanded the return of medals from 11 Russian athletes in compliance with verdict of the Sport Arbitration Court. Because they have breached the anti-doping rules at the Sochi Olympic Games," the IOC noted.
The following athletes were included in the list: Alexander Zubkov, Alexei Voevoda, Alexander Kasyanov, Alexey Pushkarev, Ilvir Khuzin, skiers - Yuliya Ivanova, Yuliya Chekalyeva, Anastasia Dotsenko, female hockey players - Galina Skiba, Anna Shibanova and Inna Dyubanyuk.
It should be noted that Zubkov and Voevoda had won gold medals by the doubles and quadruples during the Sochi Olympics. Alexey Negodaylo and Dmitriy Trunenkov also participated in the quartet matches.
