Road accident in Russia’s Penza region claims lives of three people, including one citizen of Uzbekistan
On November 10, a tragic car accident occurred on the M-5 federal highway in Russia’s Penza region, resulting in three fatalities, according to a report from Uzbekistan’s Consulate General in Kazan.
The incident took place at approximately 4:00 a.m. Moscow time (6:00 a.m. Tashkent time) at the 738th kilometer of the highway.
Among the deceased is one confirmed citizen of Uzbekistan, while the nationalities of the other two victims are still being identified. Two more Uzbek nationals suffered various injuries and were admitted to the Kuznetsk Interdistrict Hospital in Penza for treatment.
In a message on its Telegram channel, the Uzbek Consulate General expressed condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased and wished a swift recovery for the injured.
The Consulate General further stated that it is closely monitoring the situation and working in coordination with local authorities to ensure necessary medical care for the injured and to arrange the repatriation of the deceased.
