Moscow State Institute of International Relations to open a branch office in Uzbekistan

The Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR) at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is planning to open a branch offices in Tashkent and Baku, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday at a joint meeting of the University's Supervisory and Trustee Council, TASS reported.
“MSIIR is strengthening its position abroad,” the minister said. “MSIIR, together with Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, is preparing for the establishment of its affiliates.”
According to the head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, currently, the university regulations are being amended to open branch offices in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
