Singapore-based RV Healthcare Group to open in Uzbekistan a plant for the production of medicines against cancer
RV Healthcare Group of Singapore will establish a plant for the production of a wide range of medical products in Uzbekistan, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
Recently, representatives of the Singaporean company and the State Committee on Investments signed a memorandum of cooperation in Tashkent.
“A foreign investor plans to organize the production of high-tech antiviral drugs (hepatitis B, C, antiretroviral drugs), oral anti-cancer drugs, injections and bio stimulants. Parkent-Farm territory has been chosen as a preliminary construction site, the State Investment Agency noted.
Also, representatives of the RV Healthcare Group made a proposal to build a training center in Tashkent in order to train and re-train medical personnel for further improvement of the pharmaceutical industry in Uzbekistan.
RV Healthcare Group is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Asia. It has three manufacturing plants in India, two in Vietnam and Myanmar, and one each in China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines.
