Uzbek citizen suffered during the gas explosion in Magnitogorsk

During a gas explosion in Magnitogorsk (Russia), an Uzbek citizen suffered. He has been operated on and is under intensive care now. This was reported by the Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova. 
 
A man from Uzbekistan, 36, was rescued after a seven-hour stay under the debris, TASS reports referring to the minister’s statement proclaimed during a meeting at the tragedy side. Doctors diagnosed that the victim had multiple injuries on his ribs, damage to the abdominal cavity and rupture of the spleen, Ms. Veronika said. 
 
For information, in Magnitogorsk, on the morning of December 31, as a result of a gas explosion, an entrance to a high-rise residential building collapsed. Consequently, four died and fate of dozens of people remains unknown. A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of the incident and state of emergency was announced in the region. The explosion destroyed 26 apartments in the high-rise building. 
 
After the incident, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the city and paid a visit to the operative headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In addition, the head of state inspected the scene of the incident and visited the injured at the hospital.
