Price of commemorative gold coins increases by 200,000 soums

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has renewed the selling price of gold and silver coins, which became effective on January 2, 2019.

Starting from Wednesday:

• 1 gold coin costs 13.3 million soums;

• 1 silver coin costs 257 thousand soums.

Thus, the cost of one gold coin increased by 200,000 soums and silver by 13,000 soums.

It is worth noting that the Central Bank sets prices once a week, based on the fixed price of the London Precious Metals Association and the exchange rate of the Uzbek soum against the US dollar.
