1,717 cases reveal embezzlement of budget funds worth 29 billion soums in the 4th Q of 2018 

The Ministry of Finance published information on the results of control measures carried out by the General Directorate of State Financial Control and its territorial departments in budgetary organizations in the 4th quarter of 2018.

According to the ministry, in October-December last year, 1,969 control measures were held at budget organizations.

1,717 of them revealed embezzlement of budget funds in the amount of 29 billion soums.

In the course of the control measures, a return of 18.5 billion soums was ensured in the established order, materials on 871 control cases were transferred to law enforcement agencies.

Also, 91 officials of budgetary organizations who committed violations of budgetary discipline, were brought to administrative responsibility.
